Mostly when I see spoilers it's somebody died on such and such page or character A is related to character B on some show. That's usually where spoilers stops. In some cases, there are those rare people that go on and on about everything of a particular medium so they totally ruin the experience for other people. In this case, the person is spamming to get reactions. Most of the time this isn't the way people are spoiled usually it is the way I described earlier. I have been spoiled in my life for movies, tv shows and a few books. So I get why it is a let down, but it is not the end of the world. I still watched the episode of the show, still saw the movie and took the time to read the book. In the end, I still enjoyed whatever it was even knowing whatever detail that was spoiled for me. I will admit that I do try to avoid spoilers if I can, but you can't stay offline or never go outside just to avoid them. Then there are some things where I actively try to find spoilers. It's fun for the books, movies or shows I may never get it or just to see what all the fuss is about.
In the end, I tend not to let such things as spoilers bother me, but I can understand on some level why people get so angry about them so I do try to put spoiler warnings for the reviews I write just in case.
